READ THE FAQ!!!!

Hey everybody in pedal land! Just wanted to post a quick note and stress how important it is that you read our FAQ before ordering. It contains a lot of information regarding ordering, turnaround times, requirements for orders, etc.

So if you’ve sent an email or Facebook message asking something that is covered on the FAQ, you will likely just get a response with a link to the FAQ. It isn’t an effort to be a jerk, it just saves typing time.  :)

“Limited Run” Pedals…

Soon you will start to see what I will call “Limited Run” pedals in the store. Basically, on occasion, I like to build pedals for myself! However, I generally don’t want to order parts just for one build. So I when I build myself something, I’m going to start getting parts for 5-10 of whatever I’m building and put them up in the store for sale. These will generally (though not always) be one-time offerings, so when you see them, snatch ‘em up!

Mini Vacation…

I will be heading out of town for a couple of days beginning tomorrow. I will return on Saturday and pick back up on orders at that point. Just a heads up for everyone! I will try to answer emails while I am out, but you may experience unusual delays in receiving a response during this time.

A Note About Custom Delay Pedals…

From now on I will not be offering custom work for delay pedals. Up until now delay has been something I offered via custom builds, and it’s something that was very popular.

Unfortunately, when it comes to delay, there are just too many variables, too wide a scope between what a customer wants and what I am able to do without programming and DSP (which is not happening), and too much time invested in the back and forth of custom delays to make it a profitable and worthwhile notion.

I will still do custom work, obviously, and at some point I may decide to do the occasional delay pedal in extreme circumstances where it makes sense, but as a general rule the question “do you do custom built delay pedals” will be answered with me running and screaming into the night. :)

Don’t get me wrong, I also may at some point carry a delay as a standard build. But for custom work, it’s just not something I’m willing to take on anymore.

Thanks to everyone who has supported PJ Pedals so far, and let’s keep this ball rolling!

Up and Running… Sort of!

Many of the standard items are up in the store now. You can now place orders. The modifications section is still not up, and there are a number of products that have yet to be added, but we are making progress!

Some of the items and some of the cart functionality is not 100% but everything is technically functioning. You may see the layout of the site change over the next few days as we tweak and settle on some changes.

If you have any issues navigating the site or placing orders, contact me at patrick@pjpedals.com.
